This is LA based Mereki. She is adorable and makes adorable music. Her new single Blue Lake is catchy as hell and has this amazing synth - electro vibe going on. She takes all these familiar elements: 80's ish pop melodics, synth, pop lyrics, and mixes them in a refreshing and subtle way. The beat stays very slow and steady which lets the vocals and synth more around with some freedom. It's good, it's Sunday, it's science - just go with it.
