RUFUS TAKE ME [+ BONUS CASSIUS REMIX]

A great first single from Australian trio RÜFÜS' upcoming album due to come out mid-2013.  I actually heard the remix by Cassian first and really dug the 90's club vibe he puts on it. I was pleasantly surprised to find the original to be equally as good, if not better. Looking forward to what the rest of the album will bring!

Love love love this subtle yet catchy track from Moon Boots. I've had it on heavy rotation for the last few weeks, and am only just getting around to posting it.  Sweaty space disco. Yes please.

FRENCH HORN REBELLION GIRLS FM ATTACK REMIX

FM Attack's remix of Girls is basically the coolest. Italo disco vocals and a thirsty bass track have robot babies all over this track. This is going to quickly become one of my warm weather faves. Just get weird with it. 

I want this all over my music.

LETS GET WEIRD :: LOOP CITY SAY YES

This find was pure dumb luck. I was looking for some more mellow tunes for the night and this one nailed it. "Say Yes" is a creeper for sure, slowly building over the track with a supremely satisfying yet subtle climax. The really soft warble bass line is very nice touch. This one will definitely leave you wanting more. 

Loop City is Billy Kenny and Danny Wade. They chillout in Leeds, Britain. That is all I know.

SO. I know it can be annoying to post the same artist too frequently - lack of variety and such. SORRY. I wouldn't do it unless it was absolutely necessary, and it is.

JONAS RATHSMAN BRINGING YOU DOWN

Great track from Swedish producer Jonas Rathsman at French Express. This track showcases an easy house track with some disco vibes and a dirty bass to keep it from being to clean-cut. Enjoy!

Keep an eye on French Express - They have been killing it recently with Moon Boots, Chris Malinchak, and Issac Tichauer.

Not a euphemism. 

IT IS SO GOOD. Just listen, wait the minute and a half it's going to take you to get into it. I gotta crack. Yes, that is my daily affirmation too. No bigs. 

Lush and atmospheric, this track let's us get lost without being consumed. The vocals complement the melody perfectly, especially towards the end. Catchy and off-beat. 

This dropped in December, but that's cool; sometimes I feel like being withholding.

Canada's Drew Harris aka Germany Germany brings us a new[ish] one with Apollo. His new work seems to be heavy with piano and/or heavy melodics. I can dig it.
