Chester Watson is 16 years old, has put out 3 mixtapes, and has produced some of his own instrumentals. So what have you done today? Probably not enough. His lyrics are sharp and distinct, and he executes his style with the delivery of a much more mature rapper/ lyricist. "Phantom" is precise and Watson works his way steadily through the track over a chill vintage beat. I love that this sounds like 90s stoner/hip hop and think that he is definitely one to watch out for.
Also check out his video for "Shapeshifter" in which he mentions Polly Pockets, which basically means I have to love him for ever.
